About DictJet
DictJet is a small, single-purpose tool: turn an audio or video file into text without a subscription. It is run by one person with AI assistance, and it is deliberately narrow — one uploader, one recogniser, one price.
How it is built
- Your browser decodes the file and produces 16 kHz mono WAV.
- Audio is transcribed by a speech-recognition model on Cloudflare Workers AI.
- Long files are split into 300-second slices; each slice's text is stored against a random job id.
- Payment is handled by our payment partner; no card details touch this site.
What it does not do
No speaker labels, no translation, no live microphone capture, no YouTube link fetching, no word-level highlighting. Pages on this site say so where it matters, because a promise the tool cannot keep is worse than a missing feature.
